ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND

Sharing for Sustainable Development (SSD) is a development and advocacy Ugandan non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2014.
SSD seeks to contribute to increased access to and utilization of quality and comprehensive Reproductive, Maternal, New born, and Child Health (RMNCH) services to children, women and their families.
The 11 districts of East Central Uganda constitute SSD’s program geographical coverage, though current program implementation is in Luuka district.

Figure 1 below shows the location of Luuka district in Uganda.

Mission

To foster social and economic transformation of vulnerable children, families and communities in East-Central Uganda through health promotion, livelihoods and economic strengthening, social accountability and environmental protection.
